With a few simple everyday habits, your jewelry will keep its shine and beauty for a long time. Here are our tips by type of jewelry.

Good daily habits

Put your jewelry on last, after makeup, perfume, cream, and hairspray.
Take it off before sleeping, cleaning, exercising, or doing the dishes.
Avoid contact with cosmetics and household products (perfume, bleach, detergents).
Wipe with a soft cloth after each wear to remove sweat and dust.

Gold-plated jewelry

Gold plating is more delicate: it's a thin layer of gold that deserves gentle care.

Remove it before any contact with water (shower, pool, sea).
To restore shine: warm water + mild soap, then dry with a microfiber cloth.
Never rub with an abrasive material that would scratch the plating.

Stainless steel jewelry

Stainless steel is sturdy, hypoallergenic, and rust-free — it's the easiest to live with.

It can be worn in water, but rinse it with clean water after the sea or pool (salt, chlorine, limescale).
Cleaning: soft cloth, or warm water with mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
To make it shine: gently polish with a chamois cloth in small circular motions.

Jewelry set with stones (zircon)

Stones need more delicate care, especially if they're glued in place.

Tip: avoid fully soaking a piece with a glued-in stone. Instead, clean it locally with a cotton swab lightly dampened with soapy water, then dry gently.
